I just had to deal with the general manager of our store calling all who were involved or witnessed a fancy television hitting the floor.
Normally, not a big deal, but this was a twelve thousand dollar plasma Pioneer (heavy sohm' bitch) and I had just told the three guys not to "do it that way. Get Big Joe!!" (Big Joe is our hydraulic platform lift for heavy stuff. We are NOT supposed to lift more than fifty pounds, without Big Joe!!)
I was busy or I might have jumped in to stop them and get the proper equipment going. Nah! These were salesmen and smarter than I am!
Fucking expensive TV took a major dump, spilled some of its magic blue juice, too. It will not be fixable. In the security cameras logs, it is obvious which three guys dropped this one hundrd twenty pound television. I'm not sure why he called me, because I knew I was not at fault, but he just wanted to know what I had said to them.
