Melting.

I hate it when that happens!  :snowman:

But then winter returns, and I'm back again, just like magic!  :snowman:

I nearly melted this morning, when a massive thunderstorm came to the rescue. Loved it.

:agreed: There's nothing better than the smell of rain in the air on a hot day!

Still melting. There is supposed to be a thunderstorm tomorrow so I'm keeping my hopes up.

No air conditioning in my house, no. It's not something most houses have around here.

I've never had air conditioning, and I don't think it's common here either; it's not really worth it for the several weeks each year when it gets uncomfortably hot.

Precisely. Although I wouldn't mind it now.

I do have a cheap fan. Helps cooling the house in the evening, when I open windows on both sides of the house, and the fan helps getting the cooler air in. Moving air does feel better too, when it is hot.

And in the winter, I use the same fan to get my washing drying a bit quicker, when it is hanging indoors.

Air conditioning is uncommon here too.

Feeling like my holidays started.

Girls have their summer holidays. I have the Mondays off. And we just had a very pleasant day together.
I will be working for 5 more days. Then, I am without mail for 16 days in a row.  :2thumbsup: Looking forward to that. And already feeling like I am having my vacation.

I don't like the traffic noise, flies and gusts of wind when my windows are open, and fans irritate me, but opening the hatch to the loft keeps the temperature down.  With the hatch closed, the upstairs temperature gets above 30C during hot weather, but it stays below 26C when the hatch is open.
