Conflicted.  I want to say something to someone.  It's rude, insensitive, and hurtful.  I could get in trouble doing it.  Also the person probably won't fully understand what I'm saying.  So, I'll continue to take the high road and hold my tongue.

Well, I really needed to eat, so I'm having cereal with water  in it because I don't have any milk!

So, I feel a little better.

Cautiously optimistic. I was able to fix my printer/copier/scanner--the ribbon that guided the print cartridge holder had come undone, and after some effort (and much ink on my hands) I was able to loop the ribbon over the spools at both ends. Also, I may have found something to sell that will help w/ my $ flow problems -- at least until I get work.

Better than before. I started a diet with almost no food in the house, BAD idea! :duh:  So I bought some food today, and have now eaten enough.

Ah!

... but the tricky part is ... do you have food left?

If so, then maybe you have begun a "Cat Diet,"  considering that you do not have much food in the house.

They always leave some for later ... ya know.

The most successful wweight losing diet I ever tried was (my own idea) what I called the Cat Diet, but I never saved anything for later. I just set my plate as usual, ate my favorites and then pushed away the last third of my plate, religiously.

It worked.  I just simply forced myself to eat about one third less than what I thought I wanted when I set my plate.  I lost quite a bit of weight with just eating one third less.

I do have some for later, and will buy even more tomorrow! Having little food in the house makes me cranky.

I suppose what i have been following so far is more of a "Dog Diet"---"Wolf it all down now, last chance, because tomorrow you have to start losing weight!" :duh:
