"We", kimosabe?

The site as a whole. It has been getting new users. I was referring to myself as a member of the group of people on Intensity.

Would it delight you for the real problems thread to get bombed?

Not necessarily, I'm not into wanton destruction for its own sake. But it would wake me up. And I'm curious at what point support stops being helpful and starts being co-dependent, like a support group gone wrong, the mutually-festering kind, not sure the correct word for it. Intensity seems like a good place to figure that out, since we're not going to have a bunch of admins coming down hard on anyone who dares say something out of line.

Haven't decided yet.

I've been taking a pretty laissez-faire approach to people's conflicts here. Figured it fit the philosophy of the site. (Though I would have gotten involved in the recent mess over changing account settings if I hadn't been out of town at the time.) By the sound of it, people want more involvement. I'm not sure I want the responsibility of doing things I wouldn't enjoy, just out of obligation to members. So I'm wondering if it might not be a better idea to stay out of this election, so I can be free to screw off and cause whatever trouble I feel like.

Though that does bring up the question - for QC and anyone else - in what ways do you think I ought to have been involved and I wasn't?

I just haven't seen you on the site that much, and I never see you move/split threads or anything like that like the other admins do. Basically, I never noticed you doing any "adminning" like QO, Peter, and Callaway.

Since most of us don't realise what your level of involvement is on the admin forum its hard to really know whether or not you've been doing a good job on that side of things.  I would say that I prefer admins to be more involved on the site and with the members.  If the admins are to serve the members effectively its good if they are in touch with what the members want.  I'm not saying you have to post a lot to do this, but its hard for members to know how much you're paying attention to this if you don't post.

Where do You see Intensity2 in six months Pyraxis?

In the middle of another election, for starters.

But somehow I doubt that's the kind of answer you're looking for. Really - I don't know. In a similar position to where it is right now, but with a few more members and a different administration team.

By any chance, do you have a somewhat unhealthy obsession with fire?

By the way, that avatar looks awfully... err, hot.

Seriously. If you're talking about the debate in the voting thread, it hadn't occurred to me to think of it as bullying. Besides, you, Dunc, and PI, doesn't exactly make a whole gang. I was quite enjoying it. It's been keeping me on Intensity instead of doing the work I ought to be doing - so that's gotta count for something. I was looking at it as an experiment in being more cocky/confrontational than I usually am.
