did you win any raffle items?

Nope - cause at that point it was back to random luck again, and my luck is routinely abysmal. Which sucked. I wanted the plane tickets.

how many raffle bucke did you end up with at the end of the evening?

$5900, which I persuaded the raffle ticket woman to give me 6 tickets for (tickets were $1000).

Ooops, Eamonn, does that make me non-AS?

Right here... sorry about the blurriness, I don't have a tripod and the light in my apt sucks, so this is the best I could get.

Pyraxis looking very un-Pyraxis-like.

Your pic spells out E-M-O to me, not A-S.

Excellent. I promised myself I'd give karma for the first person who didn't compliment it.

I'm not insecure in the "OMG I'm fat and ugly and I hate myself!" kind of way. I know I'm moderately attractive. I'm insecure in the "I have no emotions about being looked at, it's all one big fucking game" kind of way.

Which says something about Eamonn's people reading skills, 'cause he's right about the emo.

Um, I wasn't paying attention to funny feelings in my belly. I thought I already answered this one from peegai... it didn't occur to me to evaluate anyone in terms of sex appeal. There were two women there that had dresses I would have liked to wear, though.

What did the dresses you would have liked to wear look like?  Would you have been underdressed in the black skirt and shirt you were thinking of wearing?

One was black and had a feathery skirt made from several layers of gauze, cut in a triangular pattern along the bottom. Starting from the lowest point of the triangles and gradually decreasing as it moved upwards, it had copper beaded flowers.

The other one was simple, light orange and sheer, and a long skirt that didn't quite touch the ground.

I don't think that skirt and shirt would have been underdressed, but they would have been odd and slightly stodgy. Especially if I had worn the orange sash I had been thinking of. It would have seemed okay in a fantasy painting or a hippie group, but out of place at that particular party.
