Just interested to know

Never been on it. But I know it is paroxetine, an SSRI antidepressant.

Have a good breakfast and then take it. See what happens. If you are sick again, you may have to go to the doctor and ask for something else.
Is this a new one or have you been on it for a while?

i've been on it for nearly a month.
i'm only on 10mg at the moment, but going to the doctors tomorrow so hopefully she will increase my dose.
i think i've had what seemed like a really short migraine (the headache is going now) so I'm not sure if it was the meds or not. that's twice i've been sick in less than a month... when before that it had been over a year... maybe 2  years since i'd been sick. i hope i can stay on the meds though as they're working for the depression and a bit for the OCD

Migraines can definitely make you sick. They do to me.

I hope it is not the medication making you sick. You may need to keep track of what you are eating when you take it and think of what you ate when you were sick. I know I feel better when I take my medication with food than when I take it on an empty stomach. That goes for pain relievers as well.

I don't know is there a reason for you not eating properly? This sounds bad, but do you have to fend for yourself, do you not have anyone in your family cook for you or buy food specifically for you?
I can't cook either, GA does it. And I always have breakfast cereal to live on if he is not around to feed me. :P

I LOVE cereal, I could survive on it alone!   Glad I'm not the only one.

Soph, those SSRIs usually make people nauseous.  My husband lost about 10 pounds recently when he went back on Lexapro.  He totally lost his appetite and felt sick all the time for about six weeks, but he's back to normal now.  Be sure you always take it with food.

Maybe that's why I was sick then
I've been feeling dizzy and getting headaches and stuff

When I had side effects from Prozac, that was just for the first week
Hopefully this will go away now

You're on some strong stuff, which is good because I can tell it's working.  But with that, come side effects.  They should go away soon.

Ha, I sound like a doctor.  :P

I'm glad I'm all grown up and married now so I don't have to take that kind of S*** to try and function like a normal person.
