There are times when I save up for things, like new computer stuff, which takes time, so when the wife needs something, she says she will pay be back if she can borrow some from my savings.

I guess that makes me her personal bank.

Depends on the amount and what its for really. Plus if there are a LOT of unforseen finacial drains, that usually drags it out. I usually put myself last when it comes to things like that and would rather help the family out with needed things than let my saving get in the way.
