A clapper I found.  You pug things into it and when you clap loudly it turns them on or off.  They used to be a real popular advertisement here
They used to show old people using them

Every time my mom sees those dancing Santas in stores at Christmas, she sets off every single one of them and then walks off, leaving them making a ton of racket.  It's so embarrassing.  Just one of the zillion reasons I'd like to trade moms with Peter.  I wouldn't even mind if she nagged me.  I could probably use being nagged a little.  :-\
hats off to the man on top of the world
come crawl up here baby, and we can watch this damn thing turn

A friend of mine had one of those and I found it creepy. All those moving things (Dancing Santas, etc) give me the creeps.

I have seen a keyring that responds with beeps if you whistle. Can be handy if looking for your keys.

The creepiest of those things I've ever walked by in a store was a big plastic sunflower that suddenly opens its mechanical eyes and exclaims "Hello!", followed by a rendition of "You're My Sunshine".  I should have bought it just to see how far I could kick it, and how many pieces it would be in when it lands.

Another time, I was in a grocery store around Halloween time, near a whole display of these little witches that cackled, played creepy music, and said all the usual Halloween phrases.  The guy sweeping the floor nearby (presumably having had to listen to a few dozen of those things all at once for days on end) suddenly yelled "Shut up!" at them.
