I think if someone used an ignore mod, they would be fully aware that they wouldnt be getting the whole story, or maybe that the person that they are ignoring isnt really contributing anything to the story in the first place, in their opinion of course.
Fair enough. They should certainly recuse themselves from
site issues then.
I don't see why.
Because it sucks to have the ignorant in control.
The thing is, in reality, nobody is perfect. So basicly these so called people in control who you wouldnt have a problem with either dont exist or follow a set of guidelines that YOU decide.
Lemme guess: another aussie, who thinks it's correct that everyone
should be forced to vote, even if they're completely oblivious to
all politics?
I guess that what one is used to influence one so very much.
Hell, those from the US seem to think it's their fucking duty
to vote, and many feel guilty, though they aren't bothering to
learn about what they're voting on. At least they're usually too
lazy though - except where voting by mail is allowed.
Yeah sure, it could be seen as a cheap shot, or it could be seen as an underlying drive of your personality. Either you like it or its getting you in to trouble. No means no, and ignore means Im not listening if you didn't understand no the first time.
Big difference. I SEE the wrong in
taking an action against someone. On the other hand, blocking out information about political issues, yet still acting informed is completely
unreasonable.
Don't you get it, had an ignore mod been installed back then, perhaps he wouldnt have been banned. Maybe useless spammers like him would have givin up said useless spamming if they knew that they werent being heard because of them being ignored by those who would have been annoyed by them in the past.
Aha! So you, at least, think that Ahayes was banned for his spamming?
Yet, you don't see that this would be completely in opposition to free
speech here?
