ohhhhhhnevermindi googled itapparently it is the disgustingness of eating a horse that shows how hungry you are... not how big it is... i should have known that i can think of worse things to eat than horses though... so... the question still standswhy a horse?
"I could eat a horse and chase its rider" is one of my favoured expressions
they eat horse meat in france.as a veggie, i can't really see the difference between eating cow, pig, etc. and horse. not carnivores, though, cos their flesh is stringier and strangely flavoured, so i hear, due to what they eat themselves.
where did this come from?why a horse?I mean, if you want to show how hungry you are, why not "i could eat an elephant!" or "i could eat a whale!"why horse?i can't be arsed looking it up
