They want to close my elementary school

They want to close my elementary school   Though it was built in the early 70's and has more in the way of facilities than most of the much older schools in the town.  It had already been closed once in the early 80's because of dropping enrollment they converted it to a storage facility ripping out a lot of the things that made it a school like the commercial kitchen only to replace it in a few years when turned back into a school.  They did this and spent millions on renovating to bring up to code some very dilapidated schools to keep them open ones that were bad enough to rip down   Now they are spending millions to build a new school and closing this one again though t is one of the newest ones in town.  I really don't understand towns

I only know because there were protesters on TV marching by town hall. I used to live next to the school and played all around it while I was growing up so it does have a place in my heart.

This school is in great shape though some of the others are falling apart but they just spend millions to fix them
It has everything two full sized gyms a huge music room and a nice courtyard. 
Last time when they closed it they took out the stainless steel kitchen fixtures and cut them in half in the parking lot so nobody could use them only to have to replace them five years latter

I don't even live in that town any more it became too expensive and upscale for me as the one I currently reside in is becoming

i really don't know where i'll live when i can live on my own

My sister in Florida bought a run down house in an iffy part of town years ago for $48,000 now the lots around her go for over half million.   They buy the older homes and rip them down to build homes that go for 800,000 to a million dollars

My old Catholic elementary school got demolished and the site became a parking lot!
