For me, it was realizing that I was older than Playboy
models.

When I request time off work from the 1/3/08 - 21/2/08... or request the wrong year off.  :-[

When 18 year olds look 12.

When I start telling younger people "In my day, chocolate bars were only $1 "  I'm starting to talk about "My day" a HELL of a lot now. /facepalm.

for me it was the hemoroids

Talk about a pain in the ass.  :zoinks:

But, I had problems with my 'roids since
I can remember - eight or nine. So, it never
struck me as an age thing. Hell, physically, I feel
pretty much the same as I did at 20. A little more
easily winded, but I blame smoking. My knees hurt,
but I've gotten wounded there.

I remember when it was over x million served.
I was shocked by "billions and billions served"
Seems like they got Carl Sagan to do their advertising
(and if you get that, you're old).

"When I got my driver's licence, petrol was only 68cents per litre."
"I remember when lollies were a cent each."

I guess it is mostly to do with money :P

Many things. When you work with kids that are starting their employment in their first job as you did at their age. Then you realise when you were starting your first job they weren't born yet.

When your favourite sport stars are retiring from their sport of choice because they are too old and they are younger than you.

When you realise you have held a drivers licence for over twenty years.

When your children ask you direct. "Are you old dad?" and without missing a beat you say "Yes kids daddy is very old.....but Mummy is older"
I2 today is not i2 of yesteryear. It is a knitting circle. Those that participate be they nice or asshats know their place and the price to be there. Odeon is the overlord

.Benevolent if you toe the line.

Think it is I2 of old? Even Odeon is not so delusional as to think otherwise. He may on occasionally pretend otherwise but his base is that knitting circle.

Censoring/banning/restricting/moderating myself, Calanadale & Scrapheap were all not his finest moments.

I'll be the old codger who says:
"In my day {x} cost... i don't remember. What was I talking about again?"

The way things are going this will be in about 18 months.

This brain could do with some more dimethyltryptamine.

Ja. Last weekend I lost 2 pairs of shoes whilst I was wearing them. Do not mix alcohol, xtc, lsd & dex (and probably more that I don't recall).
