I will always be a kid  :zoinks:

For me, it was realizing that I was older than Playboy
models.

... when I noticed that I was quoting my dad too often.

Many things. When you work with kids that are starting their employment in their first job as you did at their age. Then you realise when you were starting your first job they weren't born yet.

When your favourite sport stars are retiring from their sport of choice because they are too old and they are younger than you.

When you realise you have held a drivers licence for over twenty years.

When your children ask you direct. "Are you old dad?" and without missing a beat you say "Yes kids daddy is very old.....but Mummy is older"

How about on parents' day, you go to the school and the teacher's aide gives your son extra kudos for bringing his grandfather?

lol i do the "i remember when a large fries from mcdonalds was only 99p"

they're £1.19 now ffs

I remember when it was over x million served.
I was shocked by "billions and billions served"
Seems like they got Carl Sagan to do their advertising
(and if you get that, you're old).

Billions and billions of light years away, that reference. Yeah, I know, I'm old.

Ouch!
I2 today is not i2 of yesteryear. It is a knitting circle. Those that participate be they nice or asshats know their place and the price to be there. Odeon is the overlord

.Benevolent if you toe the line.

Think it is I2 of old? Even Odeon is not so delusional as to think otherwise. He may on occasionally pretend otherwise but his base is that knitting circle.

Censoring/banning/restricting/moderating myself, Calanadale & Scrapheap were all not his finest moments.

it's the drugs. gimme some and spare your noggin.

Ja. Last weekend I lost 2 pairs of shoes whilst I was wearing them. Do not mix alcohol, xtc, lsd & dex (and probably more that I don't recall).

well i'll take your xtc and dex - lsd and booze goes together like a charm. :P

... but what of the lust I feel for her?

(I know I'm old and it will probably take me about four or five hours, but I can ... well you know.)

realising you never get carded any more... followed shortly by the realisation that a family of newly arrived Polish veg-packers could sleep in your eyebags while they get settled in.
