Songs always put a fire in my heart.
« on: March 10, 2008, 04:36:19 AM »
I don't know but I get a HUGE surge of emotion when listening to music.

I took a walk around the world to
Ease my troubled mind
I left my body laying somewhere
In the sands of time
I watched the world float to the dark
Side of the moon
I feel there is nothing I can do, yeah

I watched the world float to the
Dark side of the moon
After all I knew it had to be something
To do with you
I really don't mind what happens now and then
As long as you'll be my friend at the end

Being a singer would be so mint, to have that emotion coming out in your songs while you sing them. It would help if I could sing! It would ease a LOT of pain I reckon.

me too - it's one way i can actually express my emotions, or at least know what they are.

i'm a singer, and yes, it does help a bit, but i can't sing when i'm "emotional" (i.e., upset, sad, etc.).  dancing gets it out for me, often.

I don't sing especially well no matter what (though I might not be as terrible as I thoght I was; dunno, but I really don't care either way, lol), but when I'm angry or angry/sad and singing/screaming with Alanis I have a lot more power.  Sometimes I'll kinda stop and think, "Hey, wow, I actually do have a pretty good vocal range.  I just need to be so upset that I';m starting to turn into a psycho killer orphan lesbian to be able to hit that note!"
it is well known that PMS Elle is evil.
I think you'd fit in a 12" or at least a 16" firework mortar
You win this thread because that's most unsettling to even think about.

Nope, it's Nirvana.

I think it's hilarious how the press compared Craig Nicholls to Kurt Cobain before Craig got diagnosed with AS.  They'd ask him in interviews if he was trying to copy Kurt, or did he identify with him emotionally, and he kept saying no, he just admired him as an artist.  Craig was the media's darling when he was throwing tantrums and kicking photographers; everyone talked about how "disturbed" he was.  But now that he's just considered a social retard they're no longer interested.

The Vines are recording a new album out in LA now, with Rob Schnapf producing.  I think it's supposed to be out in April.  They may be able to make a comeback - I hope so.

i hope so too
sophie won't be able to hear it :(

i remember talking to starbuline about craig once and she said something about him liking kurt cobain

we were talking about how i used to dress like kurt when i was obsessed with nirvana or something

and she something about him and Pepsi but i can't remember what

i like pepsi
sophie liked coke

we didn't disagree on much, but we did disagree on that

i was listening to Spaceship last night
i love that song

and i was googling him on wp and found the thread you mentioned where she said she liked that songs because of the "we're only 14 years apart" line

i was wondering why, and i thought maybe it was because he was 14 years older than her (but i didn;t know how old he was), and she said that was the reason, so i was right :D
