or just anyone who can tell what's not right with it?
thanks

his right leg is too thin i think

obviously it's not finished, i need to shade it in better and stuff

and probably colour it in too

i drew it in pencil pretty quickly, then went round it in black ink, so it's still kind of simple, but i need to work out where to change it

his arms/shield etc aren't right, but i haven't done the details, i just need help working out where ive got the proportions wrong

and don't say "all of it" :P i wont be able to get it all perfect, but hopefully as good as possible

not sure what to do on the left

i got his face better than usual at least. i know it's not right there, but it's better than my usual attempts

i think i might just colour it in and leave it as it is if i cant work out the main stuff to change

Do you draw a lot? We should make a "show off your drawings" Thread.

i used to draw a lot, but stopped for most of last year (maybe because of depression)
my mum's been trying to get me to draw again to help me feel better, so i have drawn a few things this week

i posted some of my old ones yesterday in the submissions forum, maybe we should make a "show off your drawings" thread in there

Watch your limb thickness and muscle structure at the joints. The joint at the right elbow (character's right, not viewer's right) dips in too far, and the right calf should be narrower at the knee and wider a little further down. The left calf is too curved - imagine the bone structure under the leg to see the problem. If you're going to use dramatic foreshortening, make the right fist smaller to the same degree that the left foot is larger. That will help it to look more foreshortened. Also the left thigh is too narrow top to bottom.
You'll never self-actualize the subconscious canopy of stardust with that attitude.

Can't help you better than anything I could ever draw

i was going in the wrong direction on his right calf

this is why i asked - even though it's completely obvious, i miss these things when i draw people
