Yeah, binge drinkers are nasty.  It's a different vibe in Spain, to me at least.  People just out having a good time together, not trying to see how wasted they can get.

It's nice to drink a pint in Barcelona. Very relaxed when compared to some of the so-called "pubs" here. No noisy background music making talk impossible. (Why is it called "background music" when it's in the fucking foreground all the time?)

Where would that be?   I am thinking about moving for a job myself.   I could go anywhere.   A fresh start somewhere is both scary and exciting.
