Yes and yes. With varying degrees of difficulty.

I'm married and love going to big, loud parties with no difficulty.  But then I'm that crazy "Craig Nicholls" aspie-type, so don't go by me.   :zoinks:  Maybe I've always been too dumb to have much social anxiety, but oh well.

hats off to the man on top of the world
come crawl up here baby, and we can watch this damn thing turn

I'm married and I have hosted birthday parties for my daughter, but usually with help.

A friend once talked me into hosting a "Pampered Chef" party for her, but she was the only person who came to it except for my in-laws and the "Pampered Chef" salesperson, who was another friend of mine, even though I invited a lot of acquaintances.  It was kind of embarassing.

Seeing as we don't have feelings, it doesn't matter either way.

Yes.
I am sociable at parties - in that I manage and am not a complete recluse.
I get more social the more I drink.
At the same time I am normally laughing along not causing the laughs & same with fights or trouble.
I dance and drink.
I single out newer people for one on one conversations rather than join a group chat.
I like parties. I think alcohol contributes to most people not seeing anything wrong with my behaviour (Booze is a great leveler)
I say goodbye to everyone and hug them all when I leave. Their last impression is that I was a good guest and I make the invite next time.

Marriage been there done that
I2 today is not i2 of yesteryear. It is a knitting circle. Those that participate be they nice or asshats know their place and the price to be there. Odeon is the overlord

.Benevolent if you toe the line.

Think it is I2 of old? Even Odeon is not so delusional as to think otherwise. He may on occasionally pretend otherwise but his base is that knitting circle.

Censoring/banning/restricting/moderating myself, Calanadale & Scrapheap were all not his finest moments.

Only thing I do at parties, is listen to music, snoop around, read my book, or play my game or do whatever I enjoy. I don't really socialize but I do talk to people by asking them questions and when I am done, I leave. I don't mean the party, the situation.

I'm married don't like parties that much though unless they are outside and I can stay on the fringes or if I drink A LOT
Marriage depends on the person I am married to an art teacher who while not aspie isn't what most people would call normal either
