I have never seen a room with frilly stuff on the ceiling like that.  Is that a UK decorating style?

I saw bead board on a ceiling, like many people use for wainscoting, once and I thought that it looked really nice, though.

christ, i lived in a house which was artex city (it's artex over here, not plaster).  apparently, it's considered quite a skill.  unfortunately, it looks like fucking shit.

When I lived in Scotland my flat was kind of like that, except they were randomized circles. I thought it was kind of cool. I don't like the scallops, though I would probably tell myself they were scales and I was really inside the body of a giant white dragon.

yes, and i pay half of all the bills, my mom doesnt decorate my house in shitty decore and i will be moving out in a month
