Schools
« on: February 21, 2008, 04:19:20 PM »
My wife stopped to see me as I was working at the school today and was disturbed by what she saw.   I don't know much about schools but I know this is a big fancy one.  Se can't believe how big the rooms are and all the stuff in them.  So I ask how big is this she says that her friend has eight special ed students three in wheel chairs and the room is a third the size.  This is a typical fourth grade room it has its own bathroom there are only 18 students in it.here are photos what do you think

It does look like a big room.

Is the school in a rich people's neighborhood?  That makes a difference here.

My school are starting a new admissions exam this year, instead of the 11+
Our rooms weren't as big as that
Retarded school though
But I got a stripy tie

Yes pretty rich it's the only school in the town after 6th grade they go to a regional.  It has two gyms, a Olympic sized pool and two music rooms too.  It's huge and all the rooms are also over a quarter mile from one end to the other but it is very spread out

The chairs scraping against that floor would drive me bonkers. We had crappy carpet at most of the schools I went to so it wasn't that bad. That classroom looks big but the desks look really small.

Most of the rooms have tennis balls on the feet of the chairs for that reason

They've demolished my last school, since it was falling apart.

That is definitely a big ass room.   Some of the schools here have rooms like that, but those are the science labs usually.

Ah yes- I remember those floridian classroom trailers.  Good times.

You have been in one?

My elementary and high schools both had trailers due to the number of students reaching beyond school capacity.   My graduating class in HS was 381 though, but it was in one of the oldest high school buildings in the city, so it had very little room.
