Oh, get a fucking mirror.
Not so. I don't try to hurt.
Hello? Destruction hurts?
Point taken.
There are differences between people's codes of honor. His actions don't break mine, for example, as I didn't take the site joining agreement that seriously - after all, when I joined, it was still the default.
The site agreement was not the only place this was listed.
But, it WAS the case when he joined. Agreeing to something
like that, made by someone you know, and violating the entire
principle strikes me as the act of someone I could never trust.
I really can't imagine what can bind someone, other than their
word. Fear, I guess. But, I'm not impressed with people motivated
by fear.
I think Gwen put things well, at ZOMG:
http://www.zomgaspies.com/peegai-vs-calandale-t53659-40.htmlRight, because you and everyone else on that site are helpless cripples.
No no. The SITE was the helpless cripple. It bared it's innards
and derived its potential strength from its weakness.
Adds note to dossier: Calandale thinks it's wrong to be completely lacking in purpose.
Indeed. That's WHY I support destruction.
(Not that he was completely lacking; if you go back and read, he makes it clear that he thinks this site is too pussified and intends to make a better one.)
I know his stated intentions. And, I blame the drink for thinking that
they make any sense. Pea doesn't have the 'time' to even be here
(so he says). He certainly didn't have the strength to stick around
and fight for what he believed in. He's not going to have enough
to make Chaos work, on his own. Even I was not such a megalomaniac
as to believe that my personality alone could push a site into working.
Hell, the place wasn't really doing so, even with a handful of contributors.
