Well, at LEAST it was an attempt at a coup.
According to Pea, it was hadron who was
silly enough to put him back in. Well, at least
we know who's judgment was so good.  :-\

So, essentially he's killed a site - which was in
everyone's power. Making it a freedom of speech
site just isn't going to work - not with the restrictions
that the place has. Not too impressive.

A kinda cute joke, except for the fact that it's
done at other's expense. Tells one a lot about
a person, actually. I'm just glad it hadn't been
done with the account which was given to him
on reasonable faith. I'm also glad that it wasn't
ahayes - I count on him to have more honor.

Someone borrowed my account I guess, I certainly did not admin him. I wonder how he "knows" who admined him, coming to think of it...

I suppose that the next step is that you too were drunk.
Once again, at least you could admit to what you've done,
so that it could be discussed. What makes you think that
denying stuff improves your image? Have you been rewarded
for it, in the past?

Nah, I was jumping out of an aeroplane when all this happened, thats kind of how I know it was not me. There is at least one dodgy admin out there, thats the one we really need to find. Attacking me is not really going to help stuff...

Asides, all this is moot, the real question is are we going to start again or not. My advice would be to go for VBulletin, so someone cannot do this again.

i think it;s worth making again, but with something in place that prevents this kind of thing from happening

i have no experience with vbulletin, but if hadron knows, i think someone might as well remake it using vbulletin

I don't know what the point of rejoining would be. The ban us for no reason. and then we have to join up again? Doesn't make much sense to me? Were is the rest of the forum that was coming along nicely? Where are the rest of the membership? What is preventing them from just doing it again?

Yep, I am a member of my uni's skydiving society. Its a bloody amazing thing to be doing.

If you go on VBulletin's website, you can have a play with it for 24 hours. As I understand it, you can have levels of administrator, unlike SMF.
