Oops, I read the previous posts incorrectly!  I thought Cal was the one being referred to as the prat who was interesting/funny/reasonable.   

My ADHD is pretty bad today.  Apologies all around.

it was the thretening the site that got him banned
he was still here after adding people to the spam list, although that contributed to it. threat to the site was the final straw i guess

I'm a computer idiot, but, the best that I can make out is that the flood of spam emails and such was creating havoc for him.  Dunc is still pretty steamed at him for also sending threatening pm's to PI after she objected to some stuff that he posted.  Plus he was still sending threatening emails after he got banned by Dunc, which certainly didn't help his case any.

The person you need to ask for details is Dunc, and he's pretty sick and tired of the whole issue.  Consider that I am saying this all second hand.  There is an explanation by Dunc somewhere in the management forum.

Some People want easy answers, served up on golden trays and sometimes THATS not ever enough.  Looks like we're back to..........same old, same old.

Thanks. Yeah, I'm beginning to see that this is indeed the all of
the issue. So, it comes down to posts made on other web sites
are apparantly reasons for banning people here.
