2.  Toll-taker - Imagine standing in a tiny space all day with cars blowing their exhaust on you and handling their dirty money and people being rude and just the repetitiveness of it all. 
3.  IRS telephone customer service operator - can you imagine the crap they must get all day long?
4.  Proctologist - need I say more

D, my partner, was a fish counter in Alaska.  He worked on the fisheries boats, tallying types of fish they caught and measuring them.  It was wet and cold, and to make matters worse, he has really bad seasickness.  But he didn't complain, because he's from Northern Minnesota
