I don't think I claimed to want it open.
That was always predicated on the idea of
members NOT having the right to lock their
own threads.
Something that I DID think was a good idea,
and was trying to explore fully enough to make
up my mind. I failed. I still think locking and unlocking
threads for everyone makes sense though. Especially
if those warnings were put in red.
IF not everyone, those who have become trusted members.
Like the Elders. The idea being that it should be a level playing
ground, as much as possible, among those who have proven
that they don't have a disregard for the site's interests.
Hell, if it weren't liable to cause Dunc a complete meltdown,
or worse, I'd be thinking that all should be admins.
