When I was young - like most people I lied. It was an uncomfortable practice, and because I was so bad at it usually I was caught. The only thing that saved me from any worse punishment was that I was able to get out of the situation by explaining why I did what I did - as truthfully and as honestly as I could.

I haven't lied for a long time now. I've manipulated the truth occasionally but that's not the same thing - and I only ever do it in order to deal with a liar.

He made sockpuppets here just to psycho ghey one of our members and then he "manipulated the truth" about it.

I think that he would prefer if it was called "manipulating the truth" only when he does it and "lying" when anyone else does.

I wasn't whining. I was just starting a discussion. I can't do it over there because it's against WP rules to talk about another member so I brought it here.

i did the same thing about ticker, just on a different forum

the owning was mild and if i would have brought it here it would have been harsh!
