I kind of want to because I'm getting desperate for help I guess, so I'll try practically anything as long as there's a chance it will work

I am dreading it though lol

I have a feeling it's going to be awful

Obviously I will be keeping my pants on regardless  :orly:

I will be thinking of you too, hopefully it will go well for both of us

Soph, I will be thinking of you as well and sending as much good thoughts your way as I can muster.  Take care!

:indeed:

I think it will be easier for me because I know that I want my medication changed and I would like an explanation for what happened when I felt manic.

What I am dreading is that nothing will be done and that they will say it is my autism.  ::)
But I will try to be optimistic when I go and also write down what I want to say and the main points of what sort of help I would like.

Yeah I think it will help you to right it down
What meds are you going on?

I've given up on medication for anxiety
I want some for my depression though and definitely for OCD, that's fucking me up and making things even harder. Stupid messed up brain  >:(
I always panic and my mind goes blank and then I forget important things
I might tell this person about Starbuline
I don't think I trust them though
I trust the person I saw yesterday more

Maybe it would be good for you to write things down as well. I know about the mind-blank and then panic feelings! I wonder if you will get to see that person you saw yesterday again? You could tell them at your appointment that you would prefer to see that person specifically and that it would help you.

I would like to try a different mood stabiliser or increase the dose of the one I am already taking. The one I am already taking is expensive and the higher dose would cost more, so I am hoping that it could be made cheaper for me (the doctors can do this). The anti-depressants are not working anymore so I want to come off them but then I am scared of what could happen. So it is mostly meds help that I want. I don't feel counseling will help and I am already seeing a psychologist anyway for autism stuff.

Counseling hasn't helped with me either
I find it really hard to tell people things IRL though
But then they only ever tell me things I already know, so I don't learn anything either

It will be a different person I see on the 21st as it's an NHS person at the doctors. THe person I saw yesterday was an autism person who came to my house

I'm really scared about this mental health one though ???

:intressant:

I know this helps me, in some
circumstances. Don't usually have
a plan, with a doctor, but if I did....

Writing things down helps me, like when I write things on here and zomg, I'll probably lie to this mental health person though

I was given what seemed like useful
insight by someone. Figure out exactly
what you'd want from them, and direct
the whole proceeding around that.

Might work, if one wanted.

My shrink was too male, and not my
type, so there was really little he could
do for me.

I hope mine is a woman
And hot

I don't really see how I'm going to get much help out of it tbh
Without telling them everything
And I don't trust them to do that

If they were going to lock you up or do something drastic, I bet they would have done it by now instead of waiting until the 21st.

What I meant before was, you could tell the NHS person that you want to see that autism person for someone to talk to rather than get counseling through them. The NHS could help with medications if you need them, though.

Kinda list what you ARE willing to discuss
ahead of time, I guess. I just spent my
time entertaining.

Yeah I don't want to get counseling through them I don't think, feels like I'm being interrogated or something
And it's not going to help me if all I'mk doing is telling them what they want to hear (or what i think they want to hear lol)

I wish Iknew what thy were going to do
They should have told me what was going to happen in the letter
