As a child I was desperate to be an adult and not be controlled by authority figures and get some responsibility. I wanted to be grown up and have my own family because mine sucked. I wanted to have some independence. Then suddenly I was an adult.
I don't think I remember being treated like a kid.
I2 today is not i2 of yesteryear. It is a knitting circle. Those that participate be they nice or asshats know their place and the price to be there. Odeon is the overlord

.Benevolent if you toe the line.

Think it is I2 of old? Even Odeon is not so delusional as to think otherwise. He may on occasionally pretend otherwise but his base is that knitting circle.

Censoring/banning/restricting/moderating myself, Calanadale & Scrapheap were all not his finest moments.

How to apologise to Scrap

i was never treated as a kid, not by my parents, anyway.  they were too shell-shocked at the weirdo who'd landed in their midst, and didn't know wtf to do with me.  and that's more or less a direct quotation from my mum.  (without the swearing  )
