I would like to know the simple facts why everyone hates Alex Plank

heh, you hit too close to the truth to his liking. Usually when you're not guilty of it, you don't delete allegations, you defend against them in a calm reasonable matter.

Seriously, if I owned WP registering it as a NFP would be the first thing I'd do (so people can get tax deductions for donating for one, sorry me accountant ).

That still wouldn't stop Alex from paying himself a little "wage" every now and then or reimbursing his expenses from the trust account.

But just...imagine the great helpful things that could be done with the surplus income!

Yes, does sound maybe inflated. Don't think many members donate on a regular basis, though not really sure how ad revenue works.

Never agreed with the donation thing at all; don't think wp costs that much to keep online. Once saw him campaign for donations and thought it horrible because so many of the members there are young and/or unemployed.

If you go digging through threads here, Callaway dug up some posts from another forum where Plank claimed to have made over $100,000 a year off of WP.

It was Alex's Myspace profile where he claimed to make between $100,000 and $150, 000 per year from his "web ventures" but he changed his profile and removed that information after I commented on it:
