I wouldn't be happy in prison. No videogames, not going out and going to places, No TV, computers, but every prison is different. I heard in Montana the prison there has TVs in each cell and they all have cable. The prison there even had a band, sports, drama (acting) library, etc. I was shocked. I thought prison was supposed to be hell, not a fun place to be in and the Deer Lodge prison was like a camp even though they had a hole, cells but that was the old prison, they built a new one out of town and moved the inmates there. Now the old prison is a museum. And Montana is conservative? They seem liberal to me. Look at the Deer lodge prison, and when I was 15, two brothers committed a murder, but only one went to prison and the other didn't because he was mentally retarded but in other states he would have gone to prison. They have lot of easy laws there. Maybe because they don't have many people there. They have lot of empty land. Fly over it and you hardly see anything in eastern MT. It's all flat and no houses and buildings but you see a few but lot of it is empty. More people live here in Portland than the population there.

but I think even it is not foolproof.

Sterilization and penal colony.

They can molest kids even if they are sterilized.   All sterilization does is ensure they don't impregnate someone.   Castration only ensures that they can't molest with their genitals (they still have their hands).   Penal colonies are a waste of money.   Why spend money keeping someone like that alive?   IMO it is better to kill prisoners who are going to spend life in prison anyways.   A bullet only costs a few cents, I will shoot them for free myself.

Sterilization so that they can't make their OWN children
to molest. Strikes me as more humane than killing.

Though, I'd offer them that option. Along with any prisoner.

I hate executions too. What if the person is innocent. Innocent people have been executed before. Can families sue the state if someone in their family was executed and he was innocent and it was proven he was innocent after his death. Women getting executed is rare. Very few are on death row too.

If anyone in my family was accused of murder and got executed for it, I'd want to sue the state for murdering a member in my family.
