It is a desert, but Flagstaff is 7,000 feet above sea level.

well yes, that is true however im not in a desert. most germans think arizona is one big desert so im not suprised at all

I was thinking you were in Phoenix for some reason. I've been in Phoenix a lot and it can be quite dramatic.
