With all this bird talk, I might mention that there are peacocks roaming freely at the place where I volunteer on Sunday mornings.  For a creature with such a tiny head, they damn sure are loud.  I've heard some places use them in place of guard dogs for that very reason.  Ever seen an albino peacock?  I saw one once, just wandering along a sidewalk with its flock.  (This town being in a subtropical climate, weird birds living feral is nothing unusual.)

Why do crows piss you off?  It's pigeons that get up in the rafters and shit all over everything.  (Funny how someone replied with "crows", meaning "crowds", and now we're talking about birds.)

I have had bad experiences with swans, I think they are nasty as well. They peck you horribly even as you are trying to feed them. I won't go near them anymore.
