I like skirts. I wish I could wear (and do it right) girls clothes...But they'd look hideous on me. Oh wells. Maybe in my next life :P

You could wear a kilt, maybe.

Yeah, not a big fan of that...well that color? :P And the material? Ekk.
I once wore a full length skirt...can not recall what it was made from, but it was flow-y. Purple.

What don't you like about kilts?

Many things, the colors, the material. That "spurin"?(did I spell it right?)

Sporran.

Just watch out for king's men.

In case they want to swordfight with me?

More likely to want to put a

You do look nice in that kilt, Peter.

Is that a recent photo?

It's from a few years ago, when I graduated from uni.  I've been scanning some old photos.

Has anyone here ever been in the SCA or done historical reenactments?

The SCA group in Buffalo bugged me.
I went to some events, but the people
were annoying.

There was a group in NJ, which I liked better.
An older crowd (though I got dragged there
by a MUCH younger thing - ah, I wish).

I didn't like people running around in garbage
barrels with wooden swords, particularly.

Need to find a chapter of the ARM.

Some of the people were older where I went but a lot of them were very cliquey not a very welcoming feeling even for the social types which I am not.
I did blacksmithing at a local museum with my brother when I was younger a few times
