I have always thought that for your first car you should get a heap of junk. Most people end up trashing their first cars. I did with mine. :P

My folks offered me the old caddy,
if I had gotten a license when young.
Not a heap of junk, but damned hard
to total. My mother knocked a truck off
the hiway with it.

We didn't stop.

Yeah my first was rather modest. Never trashed it though. :)

I hit a lot of inanimate objects. Fences, brick walls, rubbish bins, poles, etc. Thankfully I learnt with that car and haven't done anything like that in a long time.

I did that too but with a truck that belonged to a company I worked for before I had a car

me too with my first car. i wrote it off eventually ploughing into a dry stone wall - I was trying to dodge someone coming the other way and got distracted by my mate passing me his spliff. don't smoke and drive, kids.  :police:

... and got distracted by my mate passing me his spliff.

This sounds quite different (to me)
than what it apparantly means.

Well, mate passing spliff
might well be a number of
things, but when down to
HIS spliff, I can only think of
a handful of jizz.

Not sure why you'd smoke ThAT
though.

I'd guessed that, from the context.
Still....

Ooo oops.
Reminds me of the time I wrecked an expensive lift door by hitting it with a forklift. And not only did I do it once, I did it twice and then I got a warning. I just wasn't able to judge the timing of that door.
