The supervisor was Spanish and I didn't understand what the hell she was saying because her colloquial English was poor. She was a bit snappy, as well.

Anyhow, I've already applied for a couple of other cleaning jobs, so I'm not too despondent over today.

Spanish language is snappy and translating it to English in your head, as you speak, probably does not take the snap out enough to speak properly to a person who speaks a form of Uk English as a native language.

This does not excuse her lack of employment qualification., but demonstrates the essence of it.
