Swanson was released from the Mental Hospital... his condition is stable, as long as he cooperates with his doctor's orders to not go near any ponds from now on.

I see them occasionally in the produce section at the store, all tarted up, being snubbed by the "good" cherries! And the wrinkly raisins are very disapproving of raucous cherries, probably because they never had one.

I soak my raisins in whiskey before I add them to my bread pudding. Yum, hic.
Well, at least I don't make the vile whiskey sauce for it that my mom made. It seemed to be equal parts sugar (probably granulated since the sauce was grainy), butter and whiskey. It burned like the dickens going down our throats as children, but it was the way my dad liked it and he was the king.

There's tangelos.
Quote from: Osensitive1 on August 07, 2010, 06:30:27 AMThere's tangelos.Yes...I think I've had one when I was really young. Not that I can remember so much ...but I imagine them as sweet, but a bit tasteless and not as tangy as orange juice. That's the part I like about oranges...the tanginess....anything else doesn't seem right. I have a real aversion to the smell of mandarins, it's cloying and horrible to me.
