I have a sneaky suspicion that part of the reason Gwenevyn was so eager to ban me was my lack of respect for her authority. Mods/Admins really seem to
get ticked off when users flaunt their authority far More than those who repeatedly break the rules.....

There, now, yeah. But, if you posted anything pornographic,
that would probably pull a ban right off. As far as I know,
WP doesn't do suspensions. You can log in as someone else,
and as long as you don't admit to being you, or post more of
the same, you'd be fine.

But you simply CAN'T complain about the staff there, any longer.
My banning proved that. There was a period where latitude existed.

it with the rest of us. And, not having the
ban was really a hindrance, when an attack
came.

yeah atomika was on once telling people to kill themselves in the haven and stuff, and he wouldnt go away so deleting things wasnt working, but she couldnt ban him and no one else was on. seems stupid letting someone be a mod if you dont fully trust them with it

so bad, that we got Alex
to agree - ONLY for spammers.

i she was going to fuck around then she could have deleted a load of stuff, at least bans can be unbanned. deleting threads is worse for the site. she wouldnt have banned people who didnt need banning

Banning people would be a mess too.
The list of bans is very large, and they
could be IP or e-mail, which are much
harder to trace.

And, it's not like keeping posts is that
big a thing. Hell, if no one was reading them,
at the time, they'd probably be forgotten.

I think that his fear wasn't that she'd try and
fuck everything up, but that she'd target people.

us from doing any damage.

that's what he does. he doesn't take responsibility for anything. after he blamed me after sophie died and all that shit he did, kilroy and raph522 asked him about it in a thread there. he locked it. but then within a couple of minutes he had unlocked it and said something about how he thinkins this thread should be locked/deleted but he'll lave it up to the mods to decide.

its obvious ass-kissing mods like quatermass would read that and do whatever alex wanted though. and unsurprisingly the thread was gone a couple of minutes later. and he got away with it because it wasnt actually him that did it. he made it clear what he wanted so that the mods would do it for him, but he can sit there after and say "i dont delete things just because they show me in a bad light... the mods do it!"
