Have you tried previewing your replies to Cal? (And sorry if I'm being very obvious here, but are you sure that you scrolled down the whole way and found the last endquote? I rarely leave empty lines after my posts but I know others do, sometimes.)

Yep, as you can see by this new post now, it's definitely Cal's quotes on this occasion and inserting your quote above was fine.  (Not that I'm targetting Cal, it just seems to be his - but I also had probs with it not including the photo in the post above)

But I'm checking my PM's because I may have noticed it last night with those also, hence why I thought it was just me half cut.

EDIT: It ended up in there, but I think I found the original problem, an incomplete end quote, marked bold and red, above. (There's a proper end quote now, which is why you won't see a problem with this one anymore.
