Cleaning always seems to be a sign for me.  My sister always tells the story about the first time my wife came over our apartment and how I cleaned the litter box and the bathroom

I'm usually such a slob. But, I made
a real mess in the kitchen, so maybe
I'm not really interested.

I haven't FELT that I am. Oh, a vague
sort, but not like other times. I'm just not
comfortable with her.

I found most of the other posters to be more frightening.  Death by boredom was a distinct possibility.
