Apparently a chip butty may also include ketchup.  Here is one!

Not bad :)

AND  it could be made vegan-style!   :toporly:

It practically is already :)  Swap out the butter for tahini, hummus or vegan margarine.   :green:

Mmmmm, margarine, I grew up on that!  On some things it is delicious!

Eww...gross.

Margarine is a mass of insipid, tasteless, oily disgustingness. One just cannot beat a good salted proper butter, no matter what the food. Only bad thing about it is that when taking it straight out of the fridge it is always rock hard and nigh on impossible to spread.

Using a knife that has been heated up over the cooker flame helps, as does either leaving it out for a few first, or cheating, and putting the stick of butter in the microwave for a few seconds. Margarine is fucking revolting stuff. Reminds me of that awful 'flora' spread stuff. My family usually buy a product called clover, which is a mixture of mostly butter, with some vegetable oil added to make it remain spreadable, that tastes ok, but I always keep a few sticks of proper, salted butter for myself, both for putting on the likes of bacon sandwiches, sausage sandwiches, etc.

Had a  bacon sandwich, with lashings of bacon on it earlier for my breakfast. Took longer to grill, but I double-layered the bacon, one slice on top of the other while grilling the bacon. Spread with real butter on brown bread with a load of different seeds baked into it.  Absolutely delish, set me up for the rest of the day.

Also ate/drank:

A load of cherry coke, got about 6 bottles of the stuff lying around everywhere, got a couple in the fridge so its nice and cold in this boiling hot weather.

A cup of milk, the eggy bit from two custard tarts.
Some salted plain tortilla crisps. Basically a cheap own brand ready salted version of doritos

Cough candy, and propolis lozenges, thought I had eaten those all long ago, but I found a big bag of them all under my bed while doing part of a much needed bedroom cleaning.
Beyond the pale. Way, way beyond the pale.

And the remains of my mom's chinky that she didn't eat, egg fried rice, tomato and prawns. Although of course I picked out the tomato and threw it away, as I can eat no veg.

Here, we can get chips (french fries) on french bread with beef gravy ladeled on the fries.  If you want it "dressed" they add lettuce and tomato.

I had grapefruit for breakfast, and just a little while ago I heated up a can of corn,
and added some pork and butter.  It was filling and delicious!   :2thumbsup:

Haha, I tried to find "milkshake" in Latin, but found Italian frappè. Ironically this is a loan word from Germanic languages and is cognate with Swedish rappa, which either means to paint in an energetic way or to hurry up  :orly:
