I mix uncooked oatmeal with my ground meat for hamburgers and meatloaf.  Makes it juicier, stretches the meat and adds fiber.  Yes, I know it also absorbs the fat from the meat, but.............

 My mother's meatloaf recipe also used dry oats instead of bread crumbs.  :orly:
