I made a "first of the season"  whole salad straight from the garden.

My wife had baked some "bread machine"  bread, upon which I had butter, and it all went well together.

Ghandi: Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.

The end result of life's daily pain and suffering, trials and failures, tears and laughter, readings and listenings is an accumulation of wisdom in its purest form.

So simple, so fresh...all homemade and homegrown...

Spaghetti with home made sauce. Kids wanted it extra hot. So put in an extra chili from the garden. Three cloves of garlic too. They nearly licked their plates, and I had not enough with one serving. Very nice.

I should not be rubbing my eyes.  :duh:

Steak, baked potato and green salad with feta cheese and purple olives like the Greeks use. My cousin knows how to cook.

Kind of filled pancakes.
Filled with kidney-beans, paprika, chili peppers, corn, garlic, courgette, cream, tomato-sauce, and grilled with cheese on top.
Served with basmati rice and a salad of cucumber, tomato, corn and herbs and spices.

Very delicious. And using the first paprikas from my own garden.
