Black bean soup made with fresh garlic, cilantro, onions, and peppers. The tomatoes were a can of special reserve organic tomatoes. Beans were cooked from dried beans.
It's for the weekend but I have tasted enough for a meal.

Today we had subs for lunch - Py had hers with ham and bacon, lettuce and cucumbers and I had ham with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, hot peppers, and onions.
For dinner we had leftover pork, rice and plantains with the black bean soup. I put marble cheese in mine.
(Breakfast was simple - fried eggs and bacon with fruit salad)
Tomorrow I need to make either turkey soup or salad. We'll see....
