Mashed taco pie. I'm not allowed to chew anything. :'(

Be of good cheer!  Soon you'll be crunching carrots with the best of them!   :pirate:

Mashed potatoes today.

One of nature's perfect foods.  :2thumbsup:  Ought to be classified as a separate food group.

Promised my youngest that the smelly piece of camembert would be gone from the fridge when she returns. So I've put the camembert in the oven with some thyme, garlic and honey. Oldest and I enjoyed it on dark bread.

ah, that reminds me, i have to open the camembert i bought last week. it's a little hot for it, but i might have it for tea later.
i had fried chicken. i wasn't happy with the texture of the flour, but the spices seemed very good, not quite kfc but close enough. also had a salad: comfort food.

Salad and comfort....two words that probably shouldn't exist on the same internet, let alone same forum or same post:P

Things that taste of green are things that I've never just even disliked. Actually I cannot eat vegetables without nearly being sick. I find it tough and most unpleasant even being in the same room they are being cooked in in some cases. Broccoli is the worst ofno them all, by a long shot. That, and whilst its not an esculent, cut or just mown grass. I had to cycle past grass cutting tod...no whats now yesterday and I had to hold my nose closed with my fingers riding past and steer with the other hand, holding my breath. If most veg is a finger pushing the barf button, then broccoli or cutting grass is a spetznas elite sniper with a Barrett, and his spotter packing a Dragunov and submachinegun, with a bead on the button and HE/IC rounds in the breech of the larger caliber weapon.
Beyond the pale. Way, way beyond the pale.

vegetables are my favorite. i don't eat grass anymore but i do eat most other green things. apply your description to okra; it's the one thing i cannot eat - i can't get past the snot.
so far, anything green i have encountered i have been able to eat. lettuce is high on the list as it was a comfort food when i was a teen and was further reinforced by salad incidents at my first job after college and again recently whilst on vacation. now i have iceberg and romaine as favorites. i suspect that since salad is also diet food, many others look on it with dismay. mine go as simple as lettuce and tomato all the way to meat and eggs and (gasp) bleu cheese dressing.

maybe you're just a meat and potatoes guy.

i'll bet they don't make chicken and leek pie gluten free.

i had curry goat and mango beef curry. i wasn't entirely happy with how the mango curry came out - i think i used too much mango and not enough curry paste. py seemed to like it. i might thin it a little and add a bit of curry paste.
the curry goat was close to perfect.

That sounds nice - without the nuts though.

Lima beans are tough and pasty at the same time.  Peas are bad unless cooked into mush.  :orly:

After being up for a few hours I had breakfast with slices of brown bread with "chocolade vlokken" and a cracotte with peanut butter. With several cups of tea. Tea is vital.
