throw in the towel if you like.  i'd only got going on one of my arguments, but...

I'm not throwing in anything. I'm pointing out that it's very unlikely that I can change your mind or that you can change mine. If you disagree, then say so and we'll probably exchange another few posts to waste another few kilobytes of server space, mostly.

Here's the thing: I will quite possibly eat at McD again. I don't eat there very often, but it happens. I do believe that theirs is a cleaner act these days than their competitors and have already said why. We can link to various articles and studies, and dig up some dirt, if you like, but know that I do prefer their product to Burger King's.

I'm going to have to agree with odeon here. After he pointed out to me the sheer volume of toxins in mere everyday things like OXYGEN and WATER, I investigated the matter a little. He was right. No matter what our diet, our mitochondrea (sp?) will constantly be bombarded by free radicals. No matter what you do you will age and get sick anyway. I have decided that my regular excersise shedule will remain, but I don't really care about trying to eat perfectly healthy anymore. Its all food. Your body uses it to make energy. I'm not saying you shouldn't eat a balanced diet, but getting your asses in the air about it isn't going to make one sliver of a difference.

SO EAT, DRINK, AND BE MERRY EVERYONE.
"I’m fearless in my heart.
They will always see that in my eyes.
I am the passion; I am the warfare.
I will never stop...
always constant, accurate, and intense."

Green peppers, red peppers, onions,  califlower, kidney beans, and brown rice.

I used some salt,  I probably should.

I would rather use kelp or something like that, because eatting the whole thing to get a bit of sodium in my diet would have more benefits.

I was surprised to walk into the house and discover that my wife had made an incredible beef and vegetable stew.

Nothing quite like thawing the winter out of old bones with a bowl of homemade stew.

i've been making loads of veggie soups, recently, although they're the "stand a spoon up in it" variety.  with a crusty cheese sandwich to go with, they do, indeed, warm the cockles.
