Cure Neurotypicality Now

Most of us are against CAN but what if aspie doctors started to try to find a cure to neurotypicality and a group of us formed a group called CNN(Cure Neurotypicality Now) just like a group of NTs formed CAN.


Would you like them to be cured or do you think it would make us just as bad as them by trying to cure us?


I say they all need to be cured. Yeah.

I feel that NTs stress social behavior so heavily that it really does keep them from from looking at the important things in life.  They need to be smacked around a little bit to get that out of them.  Otherwise I don't feel they need to be cured per-se.

I also feel that their overemphasis on social behavior is a threat to the well being of people with ASDs.

Neurotypicality is easy to cure.  You just lock them in a little sensory-deprivation cell and eventually they go psychotic.  Actually, maybe we should propose that as our most promising solution to the neurotypicality problem.

I've always thought that would be a good way to punish bullies in schools.  Unlike boot camp, paddling, etc., they won't enjoy it but it doesn't make them stronger either.

That's one of the issues that have been raised about Guantanimo Bay; the sensory-deprivation conditions that the prisoners are being held in there are known to cause psychosis in healthy organisms, thus they may become too mentally damaged to ever stand trial or function in society upon their release.
