monkeygirls x-rays came back clean. No torn ligaments or fractures. I suspected it was a bad sprain from the start but nice to have it confirmed. So now it's just a time thing for healing 

Met 3 really cool Mum's in my homeschooling group that I've hit it off with and we're going to continue to keep in contact even though the kids trampoline class is finished for the year. It's hard to make friends post college years.

Glad it's only a sprain.

Me too. Once the ex left this morning I was able to wrap it and although she still can't put weight on it (she keeps trying with her tippy toes but then starts shaking from the pain) she's settling more. She said it feels better with the tensor bandage on it. Slowly but surely. Don't think she'll be back at school this week. Ex disagrees saying she could walk on it yesterday (bs) but there's a big difference between being able to put a tiny bit of weight on it and being at school for 7 hours and trying to get about.

about to start my third nanowrimo. hoping to finish again this year.

What is this?

it is where you write 50,000 words in 30 days starting on November 1 and if you finish you get a little 100x100 badge that you can post to let other people know that you wrote 50,000 words that probably shouldn't see the light of day.
I have that thing where if I don't write it is like not breathing. However, this year's novel actually seems good.
I've got 18,000 done.

spent the day spinning from one thing to the next - teaching 4 classes, writing the novel, working on my schedule and a dozen other small things.

it is a small miracle because before I was doing about one thing a day.

Super-awesome, now I need to find something worthwhile to buy with it. I don't really want a lot besides books and music-related stuff.

More good stuff: I wasn't entirely happy with my performance at tonight's concert, but after we finished, the piano player turned to me and said "Brilliant, thank you." That was a nice ego boost.

That's very cool! I haven't attempted a nanowrimo yet but it's on my list of things to do one year. It's very big in the homeschooling community.

The bolded part - That's exactly the way I feel about writing. But for me, it's stream of consciousness writing. Every day, minimum 3 pages. It's amazing what comes out when you approach writing that way.
