I been after a US army fishtail parka for ages.  My local army/navy surplus
only usually have size L.   They are massive anyway so it looked ridiculous.

I am glad i left my number because they rang to say they had got a M and
i was there in like half an hour and purchased it.   I love it!  I am well happy.

Had to take the wire out the hood and remove the fur, not going to replace
it with the usual fox or wolf fur but am gonna get some better quality fake
fur.  They are issued with this terrible white stuff.

I am going to get some boots next week then i will be set up for winter.

  I can't today     My Mom said it smelt funny!  So am washing
tonight and will waterproof it again tomorrow.  Hopefully i can start wearing
it tomorrow if i can sort the hood.

Aahhhh, I had one or two of them too around that time, as did my brothers.

I had one years ago too.  It wasn't a fishtail one.  I always
liked the Mod ones ever since i saw the film 'Quadrophenia'

If i had been a teenager in that era i would have been a Mod
and NOT a rocker!  I would have had a Lambretta too.
