Made it through the day without taking a handful of opiates for my hip pain. That is good.

Doc called and set my hip surgery to next month (it was originally scheduled for yesterday). That is not the good part.

I hope they stick with that date now, and don't change it any more.  :-\

Today was trash collection on my street, and I was late bringing my bags outside, so I ran down the street to meet the truck,
and this nice sanitation worker took the bags from me, smiling, and said (in his thick Worcester accent):
"Don't run, it's only gahbidge! Don't want you falling and getting hurt!"   :viking:

   I'll probably never see the guy again, but that's a great story! Anyway, it was nice of him to think of my safety.

Did your bf ever contact the police about that finger? That might have been evidence in a homicide!   :orly:

Got a free copy of Stieg Larsson's movie trilogy, "The Girl ... "  due to our promotional stance. (I chose the Blu-ray)

I have not seen the movies, but they DO sell like crazy!

Should I open it and watch the movies or should I just ebay the thing and enjoy the money?

You should sell the movies, then use some of the money to pay for the bandwidth to pirate the trilogy.
