I got in touch with a friend I worked with 15 years ago. Back then we worked for a company making effluent treatment equipment for the semi conductor industry. Back then I steered him towards effective affordable firepower for SHTF situations. Going into the hills around Knoxville and blasting shit was great. I remember setting off a gallon milk container with acetylene in it. It made a huge boom, we got concerned that a game warden or cop might show up because it was louder than a gun report.  :zoinks:

The good that happened. I've been trying to buy microspikes for under my shoes, but, in Summer they weren't available, and now they were sold out, no matter where I looked. But, the friend of my daughter called me to tell I could borrow hers. She only needs them one day a week. And I can use them the rest of the week too. Makes walking so much more stable. Very good.
