I had a good day and played with water balloons and water pistols with my brothers

OOH.  Sounds like something I would love to do, but my husband has the advantage since he's taller and stronger than I and would win a water war.

Time to learn to play a bit more devious. Turbo boost on your water pistol, things like that.

Maybe for my birthday present to me this year I'll buy some water guns and have some fun.

I think Lit would advise this one

Major Water Battle at my place.

Swimsuits optional, but they do protect delicate areas from being stung and the sheep don't get too scared.

My nephew (22 years old) in Utah had surgery and it went well. He had to have his left testicle removed because of cancer. I just talked to my sister and I could hear in her voice that she had been crying. This is a bad time for my nephew but it is better than dead. With his remaining nut his hormone level can stay in balance and he may still be able to have kids after the upcoming chemo/radiation.

Cautiously optimistic and good news.  Hope things work out for him and the whole family.

Hope he recovers really well and that the rest of the therapy will be bearable.

Cat day today. Lots of cats wanting to just have a silent chat with me during my rounds.

And, got a favourite guest for a couple of days too, the four legged lady from next-door.

I hope he'll be OK.

I think Lance Armstrong had some sperm saved before his chemo just in case and he and his wife used it for in vitro fertilization to have their three children.  Then he later conceived a fourth child with his girlfriend the old-fashioned way after his divorce, but I think it was considered a miracle for him to do that.  Your nephew might want to think about saving some sperm for the future, too, just in case.

I got Daughter signed up for a social group for intellectually challenged adults.  She agreed to try it for a full year.

Special order materials for a restaurant I will be working on next week arrived early instead of late as usual

Why does that sound ominous?
